Associate Product Manager

GivePulse is the platform for collective impact

GivePulse is looking for an Associate Product Manager to lead the execution and refinement of our portfolio of community engagement products from idea stage to launch, and the product cycles afterwards. The products have a direct impact on our millions of community leaders and organizations. You will work alongside Product Managers on the Engineering Team to define the strategy, drive alignment across the organization, and ensure the successful launch and measured impact of impact enhancing feature sets. The ideal candidate has previous experience in consumer or enterprise internet software, fundraising, fundraising software, and end-to-end product management. We are also looking for an entrepreneurial spirit that's willing to fill gaps and do what must be done to gain momentum and adoption on our products (be it outreach, sales, support, onboarding etc.,).

Your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements and executing on the whole product lifecycle. Ultimately, you’ll work with internal teams to build products that fill gaps in the market and increase customer satisfaction and success. This is a remote position.

What Associate Product Managers do every day

  • Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience
  • Perform quality assurance controls on products
  • Coordinate with the engineering department to deliver functional solutions
  • Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps
  • Prioritize the implementation of new features or existing refinements and set specific timelines
  • Test thoroughly and apply an attention to detail that considers launching fast

  • Experience managing the entire product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with market research, consumers’ behavior and marketing techniques
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies or development of it
  • Knowledge of project management tools, like Github, Jira or Trello
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • BSc in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Business Administration, Marketing or similar field

Communications and Marketing Intern

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting position that will allow the qualified candidate to expand their knowledge of multiple sectors, work in a social entrepreneurship, and learn/apply multiple skills in digital communications. This is a remote position. We invite spanish speaking individuals who can support our work in Mexico. This position has the potential to grow into a full-time position. Duties will be tailored to intern's interest/area of study, but typical duties of the marketing and communications intern include, but are not limited to:

Social Media:

  • Draft and organize social media content to promote GivePulse blogs, videos and media coverage on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Contribute to social media quantitative and qualitative analytics reporting
  • Create and coordinate content for social media campaigns and observances
  • Source content from staff and at events
  • General social media planning, research, reporting and coordination as assigned

Writing and Editing:

  • Assist in planning, writing and managing monthly newsletters
  • Assist with the design of one-pagers, support articles, graphics, and other educational and marketing materials
  • Assist in writing blogs. This may include conducting interviews
  • Copyediting

Photo, Video and Graphics:

  • Edit and format photos and videos for social media and web
  • Draft and edit infographics
  • Familiarity with gifs, animations and graphics
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating development of videos/webinars

Miscellaneous Communications and Administrative Support:

Bilingual Sales and Outreach Intern
