I've really enjoyed volunteering in the ESL class with Jean. She does a great job of caring for her students in a remote learning situation. Technology has been a challenge. I would love to volunteer further once the students are back to learning in person.

Worked directly with a Vietnamese speaker to help improve her speaking and listening. It was a good experience all around.

I really enjoyed working with people from different cultures and backgrounds. It was a pleasure to take part in this program and as a volunteer tutor for English. I hope to continue my volunteering journey with Metro South Adult Basic Education. It is such a wonderful organization that makes such a wonderful empowerment to adults to continue achieving their education.
